Description
Surfy Industries from Sweden bring guitar players around the world classic tones of late ‘50s and early ‘60s amplifiers. Their popularity in the surf rock genre has launched the company into recognition. Currently, Surfy Industries has two offerings in the stompbox market: the Surfybear Spring Reverb, and the dual-mode Surfytrem. Each are easy to use and have a vintage inspired look.
Surfytrem is a two-knob tremolo that emulates Brownface harmonic and Blackface sine-wave tremolo styles. Its range of speed and intensity is total vintage – nothing too abrasive or perhaps unusable here. There is also no loss of input signal when the pedal is on – a common flaw of many simply laid out tremolo pedals.
