A twenty-five note PCB (printed circuit board) keyboard lays things out for the MicroFreak in style. Skipping the usual keys in your usual keyboard, the PCB keybed offers an interesting playing feel. Touch-sensitive with poly-aftertouch function, the "keys" on this PCB board can be programmed internally for a variety of functions like playing full chords with the touch of one key.

Navigating the MicroFreak is a breeze with plenty of physical dials to see parameter shifts in real time. Controls for the MicroFreak's digital oscillator, its envelopes, its analog filters, and LFO all line up for the instant feedback of parameter changes you'd usually expect out of a more traditional synthesizer. What's more, onboard arpeggiator and polyphonic sequencer functions offer plenty of classic synthesizer playability for runaway synth sequences. An OLED screen presents navigation and control front-and-center for no questions asked when it comes to getting from Point A to Point B.

The MicroFreak's freaky, freaky brain is expansive with 512 internal preset slots including 320 factory presets. Ready to fire up your favorite sounds, the MicroFreak couples its massive internal memory with connectivity functions including analog 1/8" clock sync, 1/8" MIDI control, 1/8" CV and gate control, and a 1/8" headphone out. USB power or its included dedicated power supply brings the MicroFreak to life anywhere.
