Martin's iconic D-14Fret dreadnought body serves as the basis for this Custom Expert model. With a classic feel under the arm when playing, the dreadnought body comes together with an Adirondack spruce top and Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Madagascar rosewood, a truly unique and rarer tonewood, acts as a rich and resonant sonic foundation to the crisp Adirondack spruce top. This Martin Custom Shop 10CE-03MR is constructed with vintage hide glue adhesive, demanding much closer attention and a more delicate hand, throwing back to older assembly methods. The care and attention paid to this dreadnought goes further with Adirondack spruce braces. These scalloped braces are arranged in an Authentic 1937 forward-shifted bracing pattern, enabling a concise tonal focus and balance.

Reaching out, this Custom Shop Expert D-28 features a 12/4 genuine mahogany neck in a D-28 Authentic 1937 Barrel and Heel profile. A Standard Taper works into the shape for seamless playability. This Custom Shop piece features a classic ebony fingerboard with Diamond and Squares Long inlays to make for an effortless feel on the fingers.
