Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster, Pau Ferro Fingerboard, 3-Color Sunburst

Fender created this Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster with simple logic: there aren't many guitarists more iconic than Stevie Ray Vaughan, and there aren't many guitars more iconic than a Fender Stratocaster. The Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster by Fender was built in homage to Vaughan's iconic "Number One" Strat, and embodies his Texas blues legacy.

Carved from alder, the body of the Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster boasts a classic Stratocaster shape with two deep cutaways, and is finished with a glossy urethane coating with a burst finish. Attached to the body using a secure, four-bolt neck plate, the neck is made of maple, and features a thick "oval" profile, as a result of Vaughan's notorious love for thick necks and strings. The fingerboard, cut from pau ferro, offers a 12" radius and is divided by 21 Narrow Tall (6105) frets, featuring ivory dot inlays between them.

Coming stocked with three Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil Strat pickups, the Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature model delivers the signature tone that defined Vaughan's sound. The pickup configuration follows the classic SSS setup, and controls include a master volume knob, along with tone controls dedicated to the neck and middle pickups. A 5-position blade switch allows selection between pickup configurations for Strat-style versatility. 

Gold-plated hardware from head to toe helps this guitar stand out visually, and its bridge consists of a 6-saddle American Vintage Synchronized tremolo system. The pickguard, a 3-ply black plate, proudly displays an engraved "SRV" monogram. Taking this guitar across the finish line are control knobs and switch tips finished in white plastic, vintage-style strap buttons and a 4-bolt custom neck plate. This beautiful instrument comes with a Fender Tweed hard case.
