Hofner HCT-500/1 Contemporary Violin Bass w/ HSC and Upgraded Controls - Used

The Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass was designed by Walter Hofner and launched at the Frankfurt Music Messe in 1956. It has since gone on to become one of the most recognizable bass guitars in music history. Modeled after those Original Hofner Violin Basses, the Hofner HCT500/1 Contemporary was their modern version with all your favorite classic features. This HCT500/1 has had the control panel changed to the "German Style" and comes in their classic Sunburst from the original owner.
