Ibanez AS153 Vintage Sunburst With OHSC - Used

This semi hollow double cut from Ibanez is a fantastic first - or next - ES-style guitar to add to one's collection! Key features include a Flame maple top, three piece Mahogany/Maple neck, and dual Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers. The smaller toggle switch on this guitar is what Ibanez calls their "Tri Tone" switch. It is a three way mini toggle engaging different modes of output for the neck pickup, and has been featured on Ibanez Artist series guitars since the mid-1980s. The bottom position selects standard humbucking, middle position is only the coil closest to the fingerboard, and topmost runs each coil in parallel. A feature like this is beneficial to jazz and fusion guitar players looking to fill different sonic gaps when playing lead or rhythm. The AS153 also features a fast, comfortable slim/medium C-shape neck profile and 12" fingerboard radius.

This Ibanez is in very good condition with some buckle rash and slight finish abrasions on back of guitar.
