The Taylor Grand Auditorium body shape is an adaptable and functional shape that works well for both fingerstyle and strumming. Sitting in the middle of Taylor Guitars body shapes, the Grand Auditorium (denoted by a model number ending in 4) is a design created by Bob Taylor in 1994 as an option that molded the best of the Grand Concert and Dreadnaught shapes. This middle ground allows the Grand Auditorium to produce both the beefier low and sparkling highs attributed to its contemporaries. After its introduction, the Grand Auditorium quickly became one of the most popular Taylor body shapes. The Taylor Grand Auditorium body shape is a multifaceted choice for players looking for a guitar that can fit many different playing styles.
