Description

The Chase Bliss Habit is a delay pedal unlike any other. With a maximum delay time of sixty seconds and onboard modulation capabilities, Habit might first seem like an advanced digital delay. However, there is so much more to explore.

Starting off, Habit exhibits delay and looper qualities, yet takes them in completely different directions. Habit deviates from traditional delay functionality by being “always on.” What this means is that Habit is always active when engaged and captures all signal input into its internal memory. Habit collects signal input for three minutes. After being engaged and “listening” for three minutes, Habit will play back your recording from its memory from the beginning. This playback recording can be cycled out after being played automatically or compounded upon your playing after the three-minute mark is hit. This can create a formidable wall of noise that continues to build as you play on. Creating noise is not the only specialty of Habit, however. An enormous spectrum of sounds are open to be accessed, resulting in an active effect canvas that keeps up with you.

Sonic experimentation is a specialty of Habit that is sure to carry along any thoughtful solo session. Like a digital tape reel or an automated tonal mirror, Habit offers enormous territory to explore. Take a seat and prepare for an experimental delay you won’t soon forget.
