Any time we spec out a guitar from the Fender Custom shop, we are always impressed when it arrives. We live for those "OOOH/AHH" moments when we open the case for the first time and see something that is not only built to the highest quality, but something you do not see every day in every guitar shop.
There is also something to be said about going on stage (or a basement floor) with a guitar of that ilk and feeling the crowd's reaction to seeing something they don't see every day as well.
This Fender Custom Shop '65 Jazzmaster Closet Classic in Daphne Blue delivers those moments both in sight and sound. Featuring a tortoise shell guard (a perfect compliment to one of Fender's best blue finishes), a quartersawn, bound maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, and a matched/painted headcap that finishes it perfectly. The Closet Classic finish package really makes the Daphne Blue pop. It has narrow tall 6105 frets and a 9.5" radius making it extremely playable. The vintage Jazzmaster pickups deliver all the chime and sparkle you expect along with plenty of mid/low and performs equally well dirty as well as clean. The Fender Custom shop continues to impress and make us all drool with each and every case that we open.
