The Fender Vintera II '50s Nocaster is a detailed homage to the earliest production Fender guitars. Made with pride in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility, this brand new Nocaster is in some ways a reissue, but in many ways a player's guitar.

The name "Nocaster" is derived from vintage collectors looking for a name for the at-the-time nameless Fender electric. What we know as the Telecaster was originally dubbed the Broadcaster after Leo Fender's love of radio and disc jockeying. At the same time, the Gretsch drum company produced their Broadkaster snare drums, and the company would ask Fender to stop usage of their Broadcaster name. To not inhibit production, the Broadcaster name was simply removed from the logo while the Telecaster name was still being decided on. Thus, the accidental birth of the Nocaster!

This Vintera II '50s Nocaster showcases the earliest Fender features - Alder body, Maple neck with Thick ‘50s “U” profile, 7.25" fingerboard radius, 21 Vintage Tall frets, and Fender Vintage-Style Tuners. The Vintera II '50s Nocaster features a 3-saddle Vintage Style Tele Bridge assembly with Barrel Brass saddles. It comes factory loaded with Vintage-Style ‘50s Single Coil Tele pickups, and is controlled by a master volume and tone.
