At the heart of the miniKORG 700Sm is a system designed by engineers and technicians from the field of synth revival. That's right, for this project, Korg employed a crack team of synthesizer revivalists who hand their hands in plenty of synthesizer revival projects in the past. Among them was Fumio Mieda, a Korg engineer from the '70s and one of the designers of the original miniKORG 700S. Korg meticulously and carefully recreated the sounds of the miniKORG 700S through these talents and the results are sure to speak for themselves.
The miniKORG 700Sm's core character plays with a distinctly vintage inclination from thumping analog basses to singing analog leads.
