Description

With an acclaimed legacy behind it, the Epiphone Casino carries on a great tradition of unique tones and dazzling presentation. The Epiphone Casino has close ties to the earliest days of rock 'n' roll, where the distinct P-90 single coil played a great part in the development of the genre. Used by a certain quartet from Liverpool on their 1966 world tour, the Casino holds starring roles in iconic recordings and is now experiencing an exciting revival.

Laminated layered maple in a hollowbody shape creates clean, resonant tones that are expressive and responsive. The Casino is given a bluesy kick with through the introduction of the P-90 single-coil pickup. Originating from the 1950s, the P-90 produces a responsive, high-output tone, perfect for a lead role in a mix or for laying down a mellow riff. The P-90 is as impressive today as it was decades before and its great contribution to the iconic sound of the Casino cannot be overlooked.

The Casino features a number of unique specifications and appointments to make it truly stand out. A mahogany neck in a SlimTaper "D"-shaped profile is sleek and quick to pick up while twenty-two medium jumbo frets on a pau ferro fretboard are comfortable to reach higher and lower registers. A streamlined playing experience along with a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with traditional Trapeze tailpiece ensures accuracy in tuning and articulate playing.
