Epiphone J-45 Standard EC Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard, Vintage Sunburst

The Inspired by Gibson Collection expands with the Epiphone J-45 Standard EC. Since 1942, the legendary sloped shoulder dreadnought has defined the sound of generations of up-and-coming songwriters and working musicians, cementing the nickname "the workhorse guitar." Back for another day in the sun, and along with it, a desirable cutaway and Fishman S-Core electronic system. 

This J-45 gets its signature sound from an all solid tonewood construction. The pairing of the spruce top and mahogany back/sides offers a warm and balanced voice with clear definition. The body is wrapped in white binding and features the timeless vintage sunburst gloss finish. For its neck, a rounded "C" 1-piece mahogany neck is glued into the body in a set-neck design. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard, mother of pearl white dot inlays, and is crowned with 20 frets. The '60s inspired Kalamazoo head stock hosts the Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and bone nut.  

Its sonic voice is amplified with the included Fishman S-Core under saddle piezo pickup and PreSys II preamp system. Ready for live performances, the preamp features a side mounted control interface with volume, tone, and phase controls, as well as the addition of a built in tuner. The system is powered by a standard 9V battery.
