This Fender Custom Shop creation is based off of a '59 model, donning spec's and loads of character from that late 50's, early 60's era. The two-piece alder body joins the quarter sawn maple neck with an oval "C" profile with a traditional 4-bolt neck plate. Atop the neck sits a quarter sawn maple fingerboard with a 7.25" radius, decorated with micarta black dot inlays. Twenty medium jumbo frets are all easily accessible, and comfortable to play as one of the more common options used on Fender instruments. The 59-62 P-Bass pickups are thick, punchy, and provide plenty of clarity and sustain thanks to the body and neck's premium construction and wood choices.

Factory aged with painstaking attention to detail, one might mistake this bass for an original at first glance or first trip up and down the neck.
