This particular Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster kicks everything off with a time-tested tonewood: two-piece alder. The wood in question, one with a lengthy legacy with both Fender and Fender Custom Shop guitars, serves as an excellent sonic springboard off which the rest of this instrument's musical experience leaps. The experience carries on from here with a AA flame maple neck in a 60 Style Oval "C" profile. This profile, a choice among the Custom Shop's most popular, easily slides in the palm for speedier playing as it measures from .790" at the first fret to .930" toward the twelfth. Here, this Custom Shop brings on a flat lam nine millimeter AAA rosewood fingerboard. This board is lined with twenty-one frets utilizing 6105 fret wire.
