Description
Surfy Industries from Sweden bring guitar players around the world classic tones of late ‘50s and early ‘60s amplifiers. Their popularity in the surf rock genre has launched the company into recognition. Currently, Surfy Industries has two offerings in the stompbox market: the Surfybear Spring Reverb, and the dual-mode Surfytrem. Each are easy to use and have a vintage inspired look.
The Surfybear is a FET-based take on a tube driven reverb tank. Controls for dwell, mix, and tone allow you to dial in anything from a quick atmospheric wetness, to full-on drippy surf rock like you’re hitting the crest of a wave. And yes, it fires back if you kick it. The Surfybear is easily the most obvious solution for anyone who wants to get their hands on a three knob vintage ‘verb without spending upwards of a thousand bucks.
