This special edition Grand Auditorium gets its single cutaway shape from a solid mahogany top and sapele back/sides - delivering a distinct sweet and warm tone. It's body is supported by V-Class bracing under the hood, promoting increased resonation, louder sound, and more frequency balance. The top sports a Shaded Edgeburst finish, faux-tortoise pickguard, chamfered edges, and a black/white rosette. To amplify its voice, the Taylor ES2 system is employed for the task with bass, treble, and volume controls easily accessible on the bass side shoulder.

Attached to the body in a bolted fashion is a 25.5-inch scale length mahogany neck with a easy to play slender profile. The neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard that is crowned with 20 frets and accented with Italian acrylic 4mm white dot inlays. The neck sports a satin finish for increased comfort and playability.
