The Taylor Next Generation 814ce Grand Auditorium is back with this limited edition Casablanca Beige Metallic top finish, inspired by a rare late '70s Porsche colorway. Sporting all the well-loved specs found on the base model Next Generation 814ce, this release is purely a cosmetic. Start your engines, we're talking specs.

This 814ce gets its single-cutaway shape from a Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back/sides. This tonewood pairing delivers a full, balanced sound – great for various play styles. Under the top, the guitar is supported by scalloped V-Class bracing with a Relief Rout that balances both the low-end and top-end response of the frequency range. The larger Grand Auditorium body shape offers the depth of a dreadnought in a more comfortable silhouette. It's body is accented with a firestripe pickguard, maple binding, green abalone rosette, and Indian rosewood armrest for comfort. The Casablanca Beige Metallic finish reveals shifting shades of pale gold and adds to the premium feel.

For its neck, a 25.5-inch satin Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck sporting a Taylor standard crave offers smooth and comfortable playability. The neck's long neck tenon design along with the action control neck feature offers faster and easier adjustments with the benefit of increased low end response. The neck is topped with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl Windansea inlays. D'Addario XS strings are loaded in the West African Crelicam ebony bridge and make their way to the headstock where they are tuned to pitch with the smoked nickel tuning machines.

To amplify it's voice, the 814ce comes with Taylor's Claria electronics system. This upgraded system has been designed to deliver clear, reliable tone for live applications. Tone can be further adjusted using the 3 sound hole mounted controls for volume, mid-contour, and tone. With a single 9-volt battery, the system can provide 150 hours of plugged in play.

This Taylor Next Generation 814ce comes complete with a Taylor Deluxe hardshell case with "British Coca" vinyl exterior for safe keeping. Nothing quite goes together like luxury cars and guitars!
