In Fender's American-made American Professional Classic series, we're met with a number of established Fender standards that receive welcomed refreshes. No matter what you're looking at, you'll find something on this model both familiar and invigorating. The American Professional Classic Stratocaster starts off with a double-cutaway alder body. Treated to a high-gloss finish and faded burst color, this American Professional Classic series takes on vintage-inspired glory with a bold aesthetic option.

From here, a satin-finished maple neck meets with a Modern "C" profile. The Modern "C" neck falls into a familiar, modern Fender pattern as it plays similarly to recent Fender American series releases. This neck fills out to a fingerboard bearing twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets presenting a fretting experience both spacious and precise. The board's 9.5" radius makes for a flatter, more modern feel on the fingers.

For its voice, the American Professional Classic series welcomes a revised take on classic Strat single-coils. Coastline '57 Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups assume the usual bridge, neck, and middle positions, for a vintage-inspired sound with clarity, sparkle, and warmth and crucial characteristics. The middle position's single coil features reverse-wound, reverse polarity design to introduce some variability to the tonal palette and give that little extra bit of flavor. In addition, these new Coastline pickups are fitted with a Fender Greasebucket tone circuit designed under the hood to retain signal clarity even when volume and tone settings are adjusted.

Wrapping all of this up, the American Professional Classic Strat punches in with a lineup of sweet hardware specifications. The American Professional Classic Stratocaster features a six-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge. An iconic Strat spec, this bridge enables all the great vibrato bends we've come to expect alongside a synthetic bone nut and staggered ClassicGear tuning machines appearing past the headstock.
