This Double Esquire sculpts its 60's Tele Custom silhouette from roasted alder—carefully sorted for lightweight. The Deluxe Closet Classic Aged Olympic White finish coats the entire single-cutaway body, sleekly accented by the white pickguard, chrome hardware, and black P90 pickup cover. Connected to the body is a comfortable medium-tinted maple neck sporting a '57 style Soft "V" neck. Affixed to the neck is a round lam 9mm AAA rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, lined with 21 medium jumbo frets and adorned with Mother of Pearl dot inlays for a luxurious Fender feel and play.

Outputting the mojo of the Double Esquire are two different, characteristic pickups. In the bridge, Fender installs a hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster single-coil pickup that delivers the iconic twang of traditional Esquires and Teles—bright and articulate without being shrill or overbearing.
